The main construction material of the Lagoon 440 catamaran is polyester and vinylester resins, with a balsa core hull and deck.
The cabins are spacious, with lots of storage room , including shelves, lockers and drawers. All cabins are bright and have ceiling and reading lights. The toilets consist of a washbasin, a full-sized toilet, a mirror and spotlights.
The saloon is particularly lovely, with a panoramic view, a bench that seats 8 to 10 persons, a double settee, a Plasma TV/DVD, a radio/CD player, a playstation 2, and plenty of storage compartments. The galley is fully-equipped with a fridge/freezer, a 3-burner stove and oven-grill, a sink and storage space. Snorkeling equipment and an outboard are also provided.
Navigational equipment such as an echo sounder, nautical charts, a VHF/EPIRBGPS/Plotter, a barometer, and wind instruments are available. Safety always comes first, so the Lagoon 440 is equipped with a life-raft, life jackets, fire extinguishers, flares, black balls, a fog horn, an emergency tiller, emergency lights, and more.
